Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Overview

Dr Kiran C. Patel Medical College & Research Institute, Bharuch is a private medical college established in 2020. The college is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The MBBS program has evolved its intake: earlier batches had 150 seats, whereas more recent batches have increased to 200 seats. Infrastructure is well-established, with facilities like hostel (male & female), library, clinical and diagnostic services, 24-hour emergency, OPD & indoor services. Customarily, the MBBS curriculum follows the NEET-based entrance, with state counselling for seat allotment under Gujarat’s Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC).

Eligibility

• Must pass 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects.
• Must clear NEET-UG exam. 
• Minimum age 17 years by 31 December of admission year.
• Meet minimum qualifying marks:
  General category (including EWS): ~50% in PCB in 10+2.
• Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC etc.): lower percentage as per government/NMC norms.
