Overview

• Dr. M.K. Shah Medical College & Research Centre was established in 2016, located on the Visat-Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad. The college is attached to Smt SMS Multispeciality Hospital, which is a large teaching hospital with approximately 1100 beds—this ensures good clinical exposure.
   
• The MBBS program follows the curriculum laid out by the National Medical Commission, combining theoretical lectures, lab sessions, and practical training. Over the 5.5 years, students learn basic medical sciences (e.g. anatomy, physiology etc.), para-clinical and clinical disciplines, and undergo rotating internships to gain hands-on experience. The college has modern infrastructure—labs, library, hospital facilities, skill labs, and good academic support. 
   
• The intake has been increased over time; fee structures differ depending on quota (e.g. state government quota, management quota, NRI quota).

Eligibility

• Must have completed 10+2 / Higher Secondary / Equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English. 
• Must meet minimum age requirement: 17 years on or before 31st December in the year of admission. 
• Must qualify NEET-UG examination.
• Must satisfy reservation / quota norms (category based minimum marks) if applicable.
