Overview

• Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital (BSAMCH) was established in 2016 in Rohini, Delhi, as a government medical college. 
• It is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is recognised by the NMC, ensuring that its curriculum and infrastructure meet national standards. 
• The college is attached to the Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, which has ~540 beds, giving students clinical exposure in various specialties including surgery, medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, etc. 
• The academic facilities include well-equipped laboratories, a central library, modern lecture halls, and access to affiliated hospitals for practical training.
• Hostels are provided with basic amenities; mess and other student facilities are available.
• The teaching follows the national MBBS curriculum, which includes pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical phases; students also undergo a one-year internship, which is essential for full qualification.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. 
• Required minimum aggregate marks in PCB: ~50% (General); relaxed for reserved categories.
• Must appear for NEET-UG and have a valid score. 
• Minimum age of 17 years by 31 December of the admission year.
• Must be medically fit.
• For Delhi quota seats: sometimes additional domicile or schooling requirements may apply.
