Overview

• Banas Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), Palanpur is a relatively new medical college established in 2018 under a Public-Private Partnership model, run by Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust with support from Banas Dairy. 
  The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, and is approved by the National Medical Commission. 
  It offers 200 MBBS seats per year, with 85% of the seats reserved under state quota and 15% under management / NRI quota. 
  The college operates a large multi-specialty teaching hospital (over 600 beds in some sources) that provides extensive clinical exposure to students across departments. 
  Infrastructure includes lecture halls, laboratories, a library, hostel facilities, and other student amenities.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
• Must have English as a subject.
• Must be 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the admission year. 
• Qualify NEET-UG examination.
• Minimum marks: 50% in PCB for unreserved categories; relaxed as per reservation rules for SC/ST/OBC etc.
