Eligibility Criteria

10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (minimum required percentage varies by category)
NEET-UG qualified, meeting minimum percentile (e.g., 50th percentile for UR, lower for reserved categories)
Minimum age of 17 years by or before December 31 of the admission year

Minimum Education

Located in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, this government-run institution was established around March 2020 to address the gap in medical education and healthcare accessibility in the Bastar region and surrounding districts.
The MBBS program was officially sanctioned with 100 seats for the academic year 2021–22 following NMC approval, with authorization letters received in October and November 2021.
Subsequently, the intake capacity has increased to approximately 125 MBBS seats, aiming to accommodate rising demand and strengthen regional healthcare workforce.
The college is tied with the Komaldev District Hospital, a 350-bed facility with historical roots dating back to 1928, which functions as its teaching hospital and plays a vital role in providing hands-on clinical experience.

Register for counselling:
For 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats via Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
For 85% State Quota seats via Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education (DME)
Register on the DME portal (e.g., at cgdme.co.in), fill in details, upload documents, and pay fees
Participate in counselling rounds (State DME has Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up). AIQ counselling is separate.
Once the seat is allotted, download the allotment letter, report to the college within the stipulated deadline, complete document verification and fee formalities
