Overview

Tinsukia Medical College & Hospital (TMCH), located in Makum, Tinsukia, is one of the newest government medical colleges in Assam. Established to strengthen healthcare delivery in Upper Assam, the college is affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences and approved by the National Medical Commission. The MBBS program here provides students with rigorous training in pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects, following the Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum. Students gain hands-on clinical exposure through the attached hospital, which serves a large patient population from Tinsukia and neighboring districts. In addition to modern academic facilities, the institution provides hostel accommodation, laboratories, libraries, and opportunities for research. With a dedicated faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure, TMCH prepares students to become competent and compassionate doctors ready to serve the healthcare needs of society.

 

Eligibility

• Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB (40% for reserved categories).
• Must have qualified in NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
• Age: Minimum 17 years at the time of admission.
