Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Overview

The MBBS program at FCIMS offers an integrated curriculum combining foundational medical sciences (like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry) with clinical education across disciplines such as pharmacology, pathology, general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, and allied specialties. Clinical training takes place at Medicare General Hospital (associated with FCIMS), which provides bedside, outpatient, and emergency exposure. Students also undertake rural and community medicine postings. The internship year offers practical rotations across major hospital departments. The program aims to produce compassionate, competent physicians ready for further specialization or general medical practice 

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks (45–40% for reserved categories where applicable). The candidate should be at least 17 years old as on or before 31 December of the admission year. Admission requires qualification in NEET‑UG and fulfillment of domicile or quota requirements defined by KNRUHS. Local & Management/NRI quotas follow specific allocation rules under Telangana regulations
