Eligibility

    Indian Nationals category:

    1. Candidate should have passed the 12th standard or equivalent exam and should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry and biology (taken together) from a recognized board.
    2. The Candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
    3. Candidates are advised to check NEET brochure for final eligibility criteria.

    Foreign nationals/ Non-Resident Indian category:

    1. Candidate should have passed the 12th standard or equivalent exam and should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry and biology (taken together) from a recognized board.
    2. The Candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
    3. Should produce the following documents:
    4. No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
    5. An eligibility Certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

Minimum Education

Admission Process:

    1. Candidate must appear for and qualify in NEET UG (national-level medical entrance exam).
    2. Apply for counselling through Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), which allocates seats (for Karnataka-domicile, COMED-K, NRI/management quota) based on merit/rank.
    3. Submit required documents (12th marksheet with PCB, NEET scorecard, proof of age, for foreign/NRI — NOC, eligibility certificate, visa/residence certificate).
    4. Once seat allotted, pay tuition fees as per quota (Govt / Private / NRI / Management) and complete admission formalities.
    5. After admission, join academic classes, complete pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical training, and finally complete 1-year rotating internship to earn degree.
