Overview

GMERS Medical College, Vadnagar, established in 2017, is a government medical college located in Vadnagar, Mehsana district, Gujarat. The college functions under the GMERS (Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society) framework and has a well-equipped hospital with approximately 650+ beds to provide real clinical exposure. The MBBS program spans 5.5 years including internship; students are trained across pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical disciplines. The infrastructure includes hostels, mess, labs, library, and sports amenities. The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, and is recognized by the NMC, ensuring its degree is valid for medical practice in India. Admission is competitive and based on the national level exam (NEET-UG), with both state and all-India quotas. The college has grown to intake ~200 students annually.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English. 
• Minimum aggregate marks: ~50% in PCB for the general category (reduced for reserved categories) 
• Age ≥ 17 years by December 31 of the admission year. 
• Must qualify in the NEET-UG examination.
• For state quota, must satisfy domicile / residency criteria per Gujarat’s counselling norms.
