Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Candidate should have completed 12th Grade (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum average of 50% in Biological Sciences, Physics and Chemistry and Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test).

MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. In theory these are two separate degrees, but in practice the two are usually treated as one. The degrees are the British equivalent of the American M.D. The basic or degree level qualification for a medical profession is MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) which is of 5 & 1/2 years duration (including 1 year internship).

• Admission to MBBS course is completely based on the NEET Ranks.
• Admission process is conducted by Dr.N.T.R.University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Students have to apply online to Dr.N.T.R.University of Health Sciences in prescribed dates and give their web options regarding the colleges in which they want to join. Basing on the NEET rank based merit the university will allot the students to the respective affiliated College.
