Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

• Nationality: He/She is an Indian citizen.
• Age: He/She has attained or will attain the age of seventeen (17) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission. Candidates attaining seventeen years on 1st January 2001 or later will not be eligible to appear at the competitive entrance examination.
• Essential Qualification: He/She should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme /Senior School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination of a recognized Board of any Indian State with English and Medical Group of subjects, namely; Physics, Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic) and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is 5.5 years full time course, which include 4.5 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship.

• The All India Institute of Medical Sciences accepts the NEET score as the primary admission criteria for students seeking admissions in UG programs at AIIMS Patna.
• To start, students need to submit their NEET scores. After the submission of the NEET scorecard, students must attend an open counseling session.
• After the counseling process, the NEET score and counseling scores are used to determine who is accepted into the college.
• If selected, desired documents are submitted at UG/PG Admission, Dean office, Admin Building.
