  • The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) Degree course is of 4 1/2 years duration plus compulsory Internship of one year after passing the Final Degree Examination. The curriculum consists of following subjects of study and Examination of the BHMS (Degree) Course, Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. Physiology including Bio-Chemistry. Organon of Medicine, The Principles of Homoeopathic Philosophy and Psychology. Homoeopathic Pharmacy. Homoeopathic Materia Medica. Pathology, Microbiology including Parasitology, Bacteriology and Virology. Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. Surgery including E. N.T, Opthalmology, Dentistry, Orthopaedics and Homoeopathic Therapeutics. Obstetrics, Gynaecology including Infant care and Homoeopathic Therapeutics. Community Medicine. Practice of Medicine including Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Skin Diseases and Homoeopathic Therapeutics. Case Taking and Repertory.

    Eligibility

  • The candidate seeking admission in the 1st Year of Bachelor’s Degree programme in Homoeopathy must have passed PUC/ PDC/ HSC (10+2) examination with minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology including English language; and eligibility as per Govt. norms related to NEET. All foreign nationals should have equivalent Educational qualification approved by Board of All Indian Universities, New Delhi.

    Admission Process:

  • Admission of students to BHMS courses will be through the merit list of NEET. At the time of applying for the course candidate should duly fill in the application form with demand draft for Rs. 1000/- or equivalent foreign currency in favour of “The Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation” payable at Moodbidri, Karnataka. On scrutiny of the application received, eligible candidates will be selected in the order of merit. The selected candidates will have to take admission by Paying the prescribed fees.
