Candidate must qualify NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)
Applicant must fulfill minimum qualifying percentile criteria in NEET

Admission is conducted through centralized counseling process
Candidate must fulfill domicile and reservation norms if applicable

Uttarakhand Ayurved University is one of the recognized state universities dedicated to education and training in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Yoga, and allied AYUSH systems in India. The Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) program is a comprehensive undergraduate medical course designed to provide professional education in Homeopathic medicine and holistic healthcare systems. Students also receive practical clinical exposure and hospital-based training throughout the program.
The course emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical patient care through clinical postings, laboratory training, case-taking procedures, diagnosis methods, and internship-based learning. Students are trained to understand disease patterns and provide individualized treatment using Homeopathic remedies and holistic healthcare approaches.
BHMS education also focuses on preventive medicine, lifestyle counseling, patient communication, and natural healing principles. The program prepares students to practice Homeopathy independently and contribute to healthcare services in both urban and rural sectors.
After successful completion, graduates may work as Homeopathic Medical Officers, clinical practitioners, wellness consultants, research associates, academicians, healthcare administrators, or pharmaceutical professionals.
