The BDS program at DU’s MAIDS is a five‑year professional degree regulated by the Dental Council of India. It combines foundational sciences (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry) with specialized dental subjects such as oral pathology, orthodontics, conservative dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, periodontology, public health dentistry, and more. Eligibility
Passed Class 12 under 10+2 with required subjects and minimum aggregate marks: 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST, 45% for OBC-NCL
Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year
Must have qualified NEET‑UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate)
For Delhi quota seats (85%), both Class 11 and 12 must be completed from recognized institutions within NCT of Delhi
