Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is an undergraduate Ayurvedic medical programme that provides comprehensive knowledge of Ayurveda along with fundamentals of modern medical sciences. The course covers Ayurvedic Samhitas, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, surgery, medicine, Panchakarma, and clinical subjects. Students receive theoretical education along with practical clinical training through hospital postings and a compulsory internship to develop skills in Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment. The programme is designed to prepare students for professional practice as Ayurvedic physicians.

Eligibility
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects
- Candidate must have obtained the required qualifying marks in PCB subjects as per NCISM guidelines
- Candidate must qualify NEET-UG examination for admission
- Candidate must fulfill age criteria as prescribed by regulatory authorities (minimum 17 years of age)
