Eligibility

  • Students must have passed the two year P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or any other 10+2 examination recognized as equivalent thereto with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects of the second year P.U.C examination of Karnataka or any other 10+2 examination recognized as equivalent are only eligible for admission to BAMS Course. The candidate belongs to SC, ST, OBC Category – (I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B)are eligible for admission to I BAMS Course, if they have secured 40% marks in the aggregate in the optional subjects of science namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English as one of the languages at the PUC level and passed it. This claim is only for the candidates who belong to the state of Karnataka as per the law of the land. The candidates should attain the age of 17 years (complete) as of on 31st December of the year of admission of BAMS Course. Students who have passed an examination other than Pre - University, Karnataka (Bangalore), should submit Eligibility Certificate before admission issued by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. College will also help in getting eligibility certificate from the RGUHS if needed.
