Bachelor in Radiology & Imaging Technology

Candidates must have completed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. They should secure a minimum of 45–50% aggregate in PCB (45% for reserved categories where applicable), with English passed separately. The candidate must be at least 17 years of age by December 31 of the year of admission. Some institutions may require a medical fitness certificate and may conduct an entrance test or personal interview.

The B.Sc. Radiology & Imaging Technology program provides a robust blend of theoretical knowledge and practical clinical training in diagnostic imaging. Students learn anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiation physics, radiation protection, image acquisition across X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and image analysis. Clinical postings and internships in diagnostic centers or hospitals equip graduates with hands-on experience in operating imaging equipment, patient positioning, quality assurance, and adhering to safety protocols under supervision. Graduates are prepared for roles such as radiologic technologists, CT/MRI technologists, sonographers, image processing specialists, and healthcare equipment application personnel.
