Overview

B.SC Medical Lab Science College in Chandigarh – Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science  also called Clinical Laboratory Science is concerned with the diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases through the use of clinical laboratory tests. In this programme the students learn to perform diagnostic analysis on body fluids which include hematological bacteriological immunologic chemical and microscopic tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This programme also equips students with the knowledge and skills required to handle advanced lab equipment's and perform accurate laboratory tests.

The demand for laboratory technicians is very high in the medical industry. These are the jobs available for B.Sc MLS graduates: Medical labs are where MLS professionals can be seen in action. Eligibility

A person who has secured at least 50% marks ( 45% in case of candidate belonging to Scheduled cast/tribes) of the aggregate marks in four compulsory subjects i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Math and English taken together of 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination from recognized Board/University shall be eligible to join the first semester of the course OR Intermediate/10+2 with agriculture subjects.
