Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM)

Overview

• To acquire and learn the basic principles underlying, the techniques and methods used in nursing.
• To give health training to the village girls and improve their life situations.
• To develop sensitivity and skills in human relationship and communication in their daily work.
• To demonstrate leadership skills in promoting health team, community and others in the provision of health care.
• To acquire knowledge and skills in promoting health, preventing illness and the rehabilitation of people of all ages in the society.
• To develop skills in caring the sick.

Eligibility

• Applicant should have passed 10+2 with any stream. 
• Students have to secure minimum 40% marks in the qualifying examination. 
• Only female students can apply for this course.
