Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM)

Overview

Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals families and communities so they may attain, maintain or recover optimum health and quality of life. Health is the fundamental right of the individual in the society. Nurse is a professionally trained person for enabling a person to maintain and sustain health and well being. 

Today’s competitive, market-driven healthcare environment is challenging the very nature of professional nursing practice. The art and science of nursing care promote nursing as an evolving art and science, directed to human health and well being. It challenges students to focus on the blended skills they will need to serve patient and the public well.

Our aim is to prepare global nurses who combine the highest level of knowledge and technologic skills with responsible, caring practice.

Eligibility

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years. The minimum educational requirements shall be 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy) and English Core/ English Elective or Science or Health Care Science- Vocational stream only passing out from recognised Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
• Students shall be admitted once in a year.
