Advance Diploma in Medical Lab Technology

Applicant should have done 12th std. with science stream or level 3 PT with 1-2 years of experience.

The course offers practical and theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis, treatment, prevention of various kinds of diseases and health problems with the help of clinical laboratory tests. Medical laboratory professionals play an important role in the diagnosis of the diseases and providing the best care and treatment available for it. During the course, students learn to detect diseases and learn about the different treatments available for them. They also acquire knowledge about the collection and sampling of important data, testing, documentation, and reporting for the same.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• Demonstrate conceptual knowledge in Hematology, Coagulation, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Immunohematology, Pathogenic Microbiology and Phlebotomy.
• Function efficiently, confidently and safely in clinical laboratory settings including hospital environments.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and instruments or refer to appropriate source for repairs.
