Advance Diploma in Cosmetology

Overview

• At Dr. Jamuna Pai’s Institute for Medical and Aesthetic Cosmetology (DJPIMAC), programs are designed to train you in the newest technologies and techniques in aesthetic medicine and skincare cosmetology. Based on your academic qualification, you will be eligible for either one of the two programs DJPIMAC has to offer.
1. The Certificate in Medical Cosmetology & Aesthetics
2. Advanced Certificate in Medical Cosmetology
3. The Certificate in Skincare Cosmetology

 

• The Certificate in Medical Cosmetology & Aesthetics:
• This program is a 14-day full-time course designed specifically for medical practitioners and offers two options – The Laser & Peel Program and the Laser, Peel & Injectable Program to candidates, depending on their interests and qualifications. Both these courses offer an introduction to facial anatomy and physiology, skin analysis techniques, guidelines and procedures in Aesthetic Medicine as well as hands-on experience in carrying out chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and the use of various types of lasers for aesthetic indications. Modules on pre- and post-procedure documentation and business development, which play an important part in clinic operation, will also be conducted.
• The Laser, Peel & Injectables Program has the added advantage of learning the fine art of Botox and dermal fillers under the expert guidance of Dr. Pai herself. Assessment for the certification process will be based on credits received for theoretical and practical knowledge.

 

• The Advanced Certificate in Medical Cosmetology:
• This 10 day program is designed specifically for doctors who have already graduated from the Certificate in Medical Cosmetology & Aesthetics at DJPIMAC and/or have atleast a year of experience in medical aesthetic procedures and dermal injectables and wish to sharpen their medical aesthetic skills and learn the latest anti-ageing and non-surgical facial enhancement and rejuvenation techniques from the pioneers in the field.
• The Advanced Program is limited to 2-3 participants who will be directly under the tutelage of Dr. Jamuna Pai. The program is highly interactive and offers a large amount of hands-on experience. The course will focus on the advanced indications of the latest and best-selling medical aesthetic procedures, including BOTOX, Dermal Fillers, Advanced Lasers, and Peeling Agents.

 

• The Certificate in Skincare Cosmetology:
• This program is a 14-day full-time course designed specifically for people who wish to gain expertise in the field of cosmetology. The course will focus on skin therapy and the machinery, products, and science involved in conducting facial analysis, facial massages, skin deep cleansing, and post-facial care and maintenance. There will be limited seats per batch so as to ensure the student gains maximum hands-on expertise in the modules being taught and interaction with the faculty, which adds to the participant’s overall learning experience, making it a memorable one.
• The course will be taught by renowned and experienced faculty handpicked by Dr. Pai, whose experience in the subjects will help you gain an in-depth insight into cosmetology. Also included in the course will be a clinic/salon management module to equip participants with the right tools and attributes required in today’s clinician.

Eligibility

• Doctor's Course: Open to all medical professionals holding a recognized medical qualification (e.g., MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, MD, MS, MDS etc.).
• Non-Doctor's Course: Candidates must have successfully completed at least the 12th grade (higher secondary education) from a recognized board.
