About Course

The Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at UAB Heersink School of Medicine is a one-year advanced clinical and surgical fellowship focused on adult hip and knee reconstruction. Fellows receive comprehensive training in primary and revision joint replacement, including complex reconstruction cases, with progressive responsibility in the operating room. The program also includes clinical evaluation, postoperative patient management, case conferences, journal clubs, cadaver laboratory training, research, and opportunities to participate in academic activities and orthopaedic meetings.
