Adult Hip and Knee Replacement Fellowship

1. Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency in the United States or Canada
2. Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Arizona before fellowship start
3. Strong interest in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgery
4. Ability to participate in clinical, surgical, and research activities of the fellowship
5. Submission of CV, personal statement, and letters of recommendation during application.

The Hip & Knee Reconstruction Fellowship at The CORE Institute is an intensive advanced orthopedic training program focused on adult joint reconstruction and arthroplasty. The program provides extensive exposure to both primary and complex revision hip and knee replacement surgeries. Fellows train under experienced adult reconstruction surgeons and participate in a high-volume joint replacement service. During the fellowship, participants are involved in more than 500 routine and complex reconstruction surgeries, allowing them to gain significant operative experience. The program includes training in advanced technologies such as robotic-assisted joint replacement and modern arthroplasty techniques. Fellows also gain exposure to tumor reconstruction and complex revision cases due to the diverse expertise of the faculty. Academic activities including research projects, journal clubs, and clinical discussions form an integral part of the training. The fellowship is designed to develop surgical expertise, clinical decision-making skills, and leadership abilities in modern orthopedic joint reconstruction practice.
